Master Rio - Parnew Foreign Image At Shenace - managed 2 RCC's this weekend beating Jordi :wub: He is such a good boy and toddles along doing all that is asked of him, mind you, Kate was not impressed :blink:

Brie - Shenace Caught Kissn N Public - picked up a RCC & a 1st place in Puppy Sweepstakes, so a good day also - we have some lovely older bitches currently being shown, so it is pretty hard with a puppy to get pass them - just have to bide my time, still pretty happy with RCC's as she these youngsters have to beat some nice older dogs to get there - roll on the rest of 2007 (w00t) (w00t)

Heee heeeee..... it is very funny, Kate was not to impressed & decided that she would swap Rio for Jordi (w00t) When Brie beats Rio, she want's to take her in too :blink: Guess she has that wee streak of mother's competitiveness & desire to win (w00t)

Kate also won Best Baby of Group with a Rhodesian Ridgeback, so she had a great weekend - she will stick with Jordi as he is tuned into her like a crazy boy. Shows this weekend with a Canadian & Mr James from Queensland.

Ley James liked my Aime last year Lynda - gave her a BIG - which was a lovely surprise as I'd only been under him twice before with whippets, and didn't have a firm idea of what was his type. First time he gave my old Chelsea BOB & RIG. Next time he had Layla and didn't like her at all. Then he had Aime and gave her BIG. FYI Chelsea is Layla's mother and Layla is Aime's mother.

Years ago I entered under him twice with our Dalmatian whom he liked very much. Gave him a BIG as a 7 mth old puppy and awarded him again as an older dog - although I can't remember exactly what he won that time.

Ley James also gave Lulu BOG & she went onto BIS (he didn't do gen spec's) and on the same day I had a baby he gave baby of group too - having said that, the type I have now is a bit different from then - Jordi is quite Lulu-ish, so fingers crossed for Kate .

Our first local shows for the year - which were to be held this weekend - have been postponed (due to the torrential rain and flooding we are experiencing) and more than likely they will be cancelled (as it is so hard to find another free weekend (free from other shows) and when those same judges are both available.

And one of the judges has given Layla two challenges before was hoping we could make a good start to chipping away at those final points needed for Gr CH.

Now I have to wait til the END of Feb for a show!!! :angry: :angry:

Vinnie, Ch. Skyeway Silver Screen, has been doing OK too. Last week he won the senior puppy section in a Puppy of the year run off. Sad to say he was beaten by the junior section winner. Oh well. Runner-up is OK too.

This week end he was out again, this time in Perth yet ANOTHER Best in Show!!!! :cheers:
