Very satisfying to win under a whippet specialist.

At Mt Morgan/Bouldercombe and Capricorn Coast (5th & 6th Sept) whilst I was away, Jasmyn showed Darcie and she got PIG on the Sunday.

On Sat 29th Aug under Mr J Kerley (SA) at Wondai A P & I Society, ASLAN PETTICOAT JUNCTION won BOB and RIG and became a new AUSTRALIAN CHAMPION !!!!

Huge congrats Lana on your great results under Marilyn Hoy. Congrats to your mum and yourself with Autumn's new title- lovely bitch!!

Gidday Bill- you're absolutely right- of course Kraka had something to do with it. Please don't think I was trying to say he didn't. I made the point because I'm sure that 99% of people realise that Kraka is the dad of your boy and his litter mates- just didn't think that many would know the Peperone connection- and I thought that was interesting given the other results just listed, and my little Bella's win yesterday. A wonderful link between them all. Having said that maybe I shouldn't have thought it too remarkable given that N. Rare Rogue is behind all of them- both sides of Krakka- and behind all of this P crew. I'm sure that none of them fall too far from the one tree. Congrats again!!

I'd like to pop up & fly my little flag here too. My Peperone grand-daughter, Sarsanet Saxony Rose won the Baby Puppy bitch class at her very first show. Zoe's gorgeous boy beat her for baby puppy of breed but I was so very happy with the way she went.

Just a little news of my own - my little Pepa - Peperone Love n Kisses - got Res CC and RU BOB today - GO PEPA, GO PEPA!

Sorry don't know the names of the CC winners - was one of Berinswifts who got dog CC - Res CC went to Coopy's bruv and bitch cc went to one of Sue Sutherland's bitches shown by Noreen Harris.

The dog CC at Belgrave & District KC Club Inc today, went to our minor puppy Berinswift KK Illusion. We're looking foward To our specialty next Saturday, and catching up with friends we haven't seen for 12 months.

Good luck to all attending the Victorian Whippet Specialty on Saturday and the Melbourne Royal on Monday. Look forward to seeing the results as soon as possible.

We have our Zone 2 Dog and Puppy of the Year final here in Mackay on Friday night. Little Miss Darcie is qualified for Puppy. Fingers crossed.

Unfortunately nothing for Miss Darcie at Top Dog - knocked out in the first round, 2 votes to 1.

Judges were Mr and Mrs Butler from NSW and Mrs T Macdonald (Qld). Mrs Butler voted for Darcie.

I don't think Jasmyn "settled" her enough before going into the ring - She was very naughty on the table. Anyways "them's the breaks".

Top Puppy was English import Chineses Crested Vantonia Too Hot to Handle and Top Dog was Italian Greyhound Ch Berizza Sunset Blvd. (name from memory - hope I got that right).
