Come on all,What other things do you get up to? Hobbies...etc

Mine is taken up with Muay Thai(thai boxing),Tattoo's,Reading..... Oh working

Theres not a great deal of time apart from whippets when you have 7 Phil (w00t) But we like go caravanning and I like making collars and tassels and sometimes jewellery and Andy makes walking sticks and staffs )

My OH is retired, and I now only work occasionally, so we are quite lucky. We enjoy caravan and narrowboat holidays (the dogs always come with us), and I am learning to play the piano. OH and I also play the concertina which we started about 4 years ago.

My other interest is my marine fish. :wub: :wub:

We love our caravan and all the better that we see friends when we go to it now, it great because we can take the dogs and they are used to it now so its just like normal for them, the whippets were the ones who set us off with the hobbies I was always looking for collars and I thought why dont I make some and Andrew started with the sticks because he got one from a game fair and thought I could make one better than that, he looks like the dog whisperer when hes out lol but the staff does work for keeping the pack in line as a guide and a steady for him(dont tell him I said that) :teehee:

We also caravan, I make collars and coats for sighthounds and we also sail model yachts. Between us, we have 5 sailing boats and 1 motor boat. The largest sailing boat weighs in at about 45lbs!! We sail on a large lake and its so relaxing and peaceful.

Juley do you have any photos of your model yachts? A real coincidence but earlier today OH and I were talking about remote controlled helicopters (he has one that he has never flown :- ) , and I happened to mention you having model boats (I think you put a photo of one a while ago if I remember correctly).

Well like Lesley dont have a lot of time lol. for much else... :lol:

Besides the whippets...I also keep rabbits and guinea pigs and have 3 cats and tropical fish...so spend a lot of my time cleaning hutches, tanks

and feeding animals. Of course in between Im walking whippets..now 4 of them !!..

I would love to own a Motorhome or Caravan too...and have been looking at some lately too...so one day you never know..holidays with the dogs

may be on the cards hopefully. :thumbsup:

Oh and I love Cooking too and enjoy making meals.......the rest of the time I spend being a Taxi for my 16 and 20 year olds...and housemaid. :thumbsup:

we do coursing most sundays with the dogs,

my OH is into tech and gadgets, hes forever buying broken laptops, mobiles whatever and fixing them, i like baking and am very slowly learning pole dancing.

like most else have said would love a caravan havnt had a holiday in a long time and caravaning would be ideal

cant think off much else as most of the time is taken up with kids homework and school run/clubs lol

oh and i dabble in photography

Besides the whippets i have 21 Chinchillas and some Degu to clean

and care for. I have 3 grandchildren who i like to spend time with.

 

I am on the committee for a group of Adults with learning difficulties,

we have our club meetings on Friday nights, we also have a fair few

day trips and disco's and such in the evenings.

There are also more formal things connected to it that take some time.

 

 

Oh and Thursday's is my day, i meet up with my mates, we have a bit

of lunch and then spend the afternoon/evening in a pub or two :lol:

I work part time for now but in my spare time I do alot of walking with Penny and I also have my guinea pig and 4 ferrets. I also enjoy taking photos but wouldn't call myself a photographer. I love music, I play violin and piano and I also love listening to music I enjoy just sitting back and relaxing to one of my Sarah brightman CDs. During the cold winter nights me and my mum enjoy sitting up watching old movies, my favourites are the 1940s dramas but my dvd collection ranges from 1922-2010. Nothing very exciting lol.

This is really interesting - finding out new things about eveyone :thumbsup:

I enjoy photography and belong to a Camera Club. I also play violin in an orchestra and piano/organ in church occasionally. Governor at our local primary school and now also a trustee of Scruples Whippet Rescue. I also follow Cardiff City FC although I'm unable to travel down to their games very often as it's too far!
