First weeks racing at our track in Shildon a good entry of 17 dogs and plenty of local youngsters came along to watch, fingers crossed things will go ok at this track.

LETS HOPE THE STYLES HELP, SPOKE TO SOMEONE WHO KNOWS THE OWNER OF THE HORSES GOING TO SPEAK TO HIM :thumbsup:

REALLY ANNOYING OVER THE LAST WEEK MAKING THE GROUND STOCK PROOF AND LIFTING OUT THE HOOF MARKS :rant: :rant: WE HAVE SPENT HOURS SORTING THING. THIS WILL MAKE A VERY NICE TRACK IF WE CAN KEEP THEM HORSES OUT. BUT ITS EARLY DAYS AND WE ARE GETTING THERE :thumbsup: LOADS OF FOLKS THERE LAST W/E. GOOD TO SEE SOME YOUNGSTER SHOWING INTEREST. MIGHT GET LURCHERS, PEDS,ASWELL AS OURS RACING. COULD EVEN GIVE TERRIERS 50 YDS. GIVE ANY THING A GO FOR A BIT OF INTEREST AND FUN :thumbsup:

JUST HAVE TO SEE WHAT SORT OF WINTER WE HAVE :thumbsup:

We have had a complaint from local residents regarding parking, please do not park in the residential area ajacent to the track, we are going to try parking in the bottom field this week, turn left as you come through the gate, this seems to be a bit drier than the track field, if not we can park in the athletics track :thumbsup:

also if you have no dogs to race park 50 m down the road in the leisure centre car park. due to the wet weather.

PLEASE DONT PARK IN THE ESTATE OPPISITE TO KEEP THE NATIVES HAPPY :thumbsup:

folks are really pleased with the track aslong as we can keep the horses out.

mr/mrs noble where very happy and enjoyed the afternoon,there dog pup passed no problem in a fantastic time.( going to be a goodun ) nice one.

few lurchers looking very well,roberts podge had a hard race or two with another dog name????????????. going past no problem.

in the time handicap this week :thumbsup:

few of the resisident are very interested in the racing and coming to spectate, great folks like this.but there are the wingers.

the track is a slight pull at the moment the soft going if a dog breaks 8.5 its flying. plenty of run in.

THE CAR PARK OPPISITE THE LEISURE CENTRE IN THE ATHLETICS GROUND WILL BE OPEN. A FEW FOLKS WITH VANS ARE HAVING PROBLEMS GETTING OFF THE FIELD. APROX 100 M OFF TRACK CAMERA MONITORED.

FOLKS WITH A FEW DOGS TO RUN CAN PARK JUST INTO THE FIELD.

BUT WOULD LIKE AS MANY FOLKS AS POSSIBLE TO USE CAR PARK TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO FIELD IN THE SOFT CONDITIONS.

BE INTERESTING TO SEE THE TIME THIS WEEK AS LAST WEEK BEST TIME WAS AROUND 8.60/70.

as long as the horses keep out,anyone want them.they have been dumped so get in where they can.

tryed all corners police, not interested unless we turn them onto road then they will do us (w00t) rspca dont cater for stray horses (w00t) so who does :wacko: its not the poor horses fault but what will they do in hard condition/snow etc. no food drink.

our trck must look like a field of buns to them. poor things.

we wouldnt mind them grazing but 3ins hoof marks (w00t) we spent hours if not days taking them out ,building styles etc.

we have been horse free for a week the track looks well,see how it runs tomorrow still soft going.,

wouldnt be frightened to put bentley up (w00t) (w00t) but you cannot believe the price of cotton wool these days ,better leave him wrapped up :thumbsup: 8) :- o

dont think there should be exceptions dave dont think any vans or cars shoould be on feild while grounds soft

would expect folks think about it.a couple of folk run 2/3 dogs some vans are sh-t travellers so we thought they could pull through gate enough, so folks could go into lower field as long as they can get out (w00t) ,or park in atletics ground car park if you dont mind 100 yd walk camera monitored.or even the liesure centre park which is only 50 yds off the track.

difficult this time of year very soft.

dont want to give the wingers bullets to fire, the wingers saying we are damageing the field.

surely folk understand we want to look after this track in these difficult conditions and park appropriately :thumbsup:
