The Badge Man and I went ferreting yesterday and before we packed up, I thought I'd do some retrieve practice with him using the longnet.

The lad certainly enjoyed himself (w00t)

Before anyone panics, he is retrieving a dead grass stalk, hollow and crumbles in your hand 8)

Thanks for looking and sorry if I bored anyone, but never tried taking shots like these before and found it fun but hard. Trying to throw the stick and then get him on the way over and the way back was a blooming nightmare, and I only managed one 'going over' shot lol!
