Buffy's Babies

Well Dougie & Liz, Tank looks like he is well settled in, he lookes well happy, good to see the other dogs have taken to him so well.

I'm just desperate to get out for walks with Codie, still a few weeks to go, he is doing really good now with his lead, but up and down the garden is a bit boring, for him as well |I think.

Anyway keep posting

:luck:

Thanks for the link Jill, just redgistered.

We got a puppy pack from the vet when  Codie  got his jabs, it was really good, had a frisby init, also a pack of pedigree dry puppy food, book about keeping / training/ health etc, also 1 yr free membership with petback, missing pets bureau, here is there number if any of you are interested 0800 0195 110. for a charge they will even do a dna sample,

Oh and the vet gave us 2 leads, should only be 1 but Darren and Chloe argued between a blue one and a black one, so the vet gave up and gave them one each lol.

Codie is sound asleep at the mo so I will get some pics later and post them.

What a Picture!! Frame it, its brilliant..

Good Luck :luck: to the whole gang in the big wide world. Whoever has them is going to have so much fun bringing them up...

Hows little Toby doing without his brothers and sisters now???

He has still got Macey until tomorrow, but they both missed Tank this week, and Im sure he will miss Macey, but he will join me, Buffy and Jack in the 'grown-ups' bedroom tomorrow night and I think he will be more than happy to have a cuddle and sleep on my pillow !!!! Plus Im going to take him out on the dog walks in a little rucksack so that hes not left on his own, so life will become more interesting for him.

Little TOBY a whole new world awaits you.

Good Luck :luck: and Good Luck to Macey too

Sorry for not posting for a ages, but problems with my health, and problems with my ISP (no Internet!) have meant I've not been to K9 for a while.

I can't believe Byron is 9 weeks old! He's such a little sweetie, always either full of beans and running around, or totally the opposite and sleeping like a little angel with a smile on his face! o:)

Byron has had a microchip put in, (he wasn't happy!), and now he is fully insured too! He is used to wearing his collar now, although he still has a bit of a scratch now and then, and we're getting him used to his lead. As the collar he's got now is rather basic, and looks a bit shabby due to the extra holes we've had to punch in it (he's too small for a "small puppy" collar!), we went to Pets At Home and got him a "proper" collar for when he's a little bit bigger. It's made of denim with cololured stitching- just like you see on jeans- and he has a matching lead to go with it- he'll look dead trendy in it! I don't know when he'll be able to wear it though, as it was the smallest size they had, but it's still 10 inches long, and his neck is only 8 inches round at the moment!

Byron has one really annoying habit, and that is that if Mum is in the house, but in another room, he goes totally MENTAL!!!! (w00t) I've never heard such weird noises from a dog before, and what's worse is that he howls and screams really loud!!! The neighbours must think we're pulling his toenails out, one by one! The strange thing is, when Mum is out of the house completely, like when she takes Daisy and Clara for walks, he's absolutely fine! I guess he just can't grasp the concept that Mum doesn't want to spend every waking minute with him when she's home!

As for housetraining, he's not doing badly. When he's downstairs, he goes to the back door and lets us know he wants to go in the garden. When he's upstairs in my bedroom with all the other animals at night, he's learned that he has to go on a puppy training pad to do his business. (He hasn't worked out how to wake me to let me know he needs the loo- mind you, I sleep so deeply, he could probably howl the house down and I wouldn't rouse! :b ) He has a bit of trouble getting to the back door / puppy pad for a pee- from what I've seen, the urge to urinate comes upon him really quickly, and though he tries to get to the door / pad, quite often he can't help peeing before he gets there. So poos are not a problem (only a couple of accidents), but pees seem to come without much warning, though he is getting better at spotting the signs that he needs to go, and quite a few pees have landed in the right place recently! I don't know if any of the other "Buppies" owners have a similar problem, but Byron's poos are seriously smelly, and he has a real problem with farting!!! (We're talking really noxious emissions here!!!) He seems to break wind every few minutes- we're thinking of trying to get hold of some gas-masks!!!!! :- "

We've taken some more photos of the little darling (as you requested, Jill!) so I will try and post some.......

Here's Byron doing some posing!...........
