Id just buy a new top Becka

Just as we're on about colours - what does white ticked mean? At what point is a whippet "[insert colour] and white" - also what can I do if my pup's pedigree says "blue with white blaze" but really he's blue-brindle with white blaze? Sorry for being a pain. ;)

Oh and your top will never be the same again Beaker - buy a new one!

Good question about " *colour* and white " . I know my Grover is definitely blue and white. Ros is down as black and white on his ped. From the top he looks black (just a bit of white on his neck, white blaze and white socks (well one white stocking that reaches to his elbow ;) ) but underneath he is all white.

Looks black here:-

But as if by magic:-

I am sure my sister will correct me if I am wrong, but just for ease when registering our litter as we didn't know at that age who would be our 'keeper' but wanted a specific name for the dog we kept - we registered all the boys as brindle and white. Two of the boys were pretty much solid with white blaze, feet and chest, and Diego is a brindle and white parti colour.

The girls are just registered as parti colour as when registered we still couldn't tell if Orla was going to develop any stripes, and again as one girl was off to a show home where her new Mum had picked her name, it had to be done this way.

Apologies for going off topic, but...

Awww, bless them with their tiny basketball ^_^
