All this pretty beaded jewellery on whippets is all very fine but I wanted something more MANLY for my boys. Then it came to me(w00t) I know, I'll wind some horrible rusty old barbwire around their necks. How come I never thought of it sooner!

I wish I could claim to be the bright spark who made this but I am not. It was made for me by a friend who started doing them as hat bands for our very own Aussie hat brand, Akubra. I asked him to make one for a whippet. I agree they'd be great as necklaces for punks, goths & emos.

My friend showed me how to make them & I've had a go but mine aren't as good as his. When I told him of the interest here I asked if he'd be willing to make some more. He's agreed so if anyone is really interested you can email me at lindameerman @ hotmail .com I am not sure what he'd charge for them but I wont take any extra, I'll just be his go-between as he is not a computer person.
