Fantastic Production Of Les Miserables

On Saturday evening we went to a production of Les Miserables, my absolute favourite musical. The production was staged by STP Musicals, and it was the final night. Emma, (xxwhippetloverxx) played the part of Madame Thenardier, and was absolutely amazing! She played the character part magnificently, and mum Sonia (Whippet4eva) and dad Dave were as proud as punch. So they should be, her voice and acting skills had to be seen to be believed.

There was a young lad of 17 playing Jean Valjean - and WOW what a voice he had. I wouldn't have missed this for the world. We took my brother and sister in law, as they are Les Mis fans also, and on Sunday we didn't stop talking about it all day.

Congratulations Emma on your performance, and lucky you Sonia having such a talented daughter. I know we may not see either of you on K9 until you feel able to post again. Anyone who knows you will know how things are.

:cheers: Congratulations - well done. My nephew is in Les Mis at the Queens theatre on Shaftsbury Avenue London. My sisters and I are travelling to see him in a couple of weeks time. Its really thrilling to see them on the stage, you get a real lump in your throat (w00t)

I am really envious of you June, I love musicals but have never seen Les Mis. I listen to the music but have never been.. I will get around to it one day. It sounds fabulous. Well done to the cast and my thoughts are with you at this terribly hard time. :huggles:
