our molly is getting tired now too,but just wish i could keep the weight on her but i carnt

Jesse still eats a lot but the weight is dropping off him every day even around his eye sockets

mollys 11 so shes getting on a bit ,shes always been a real softy and isnt a minutes trouble :huggles: not like these whippys of mine :teehee:

[SIZE=14pt]it was about 4 weeks ago i said to my mum that i thought the vets might have got iot wrong cause she was like a loony running about then all of a sudden shes asleep most of the day and we go for a walk and she will lay down every time i stop,so shes gone down quickly too she also as athritis and as incontience with her bladder to some degree .[/SIZE]

[SIZE=14pt]The same thing happened with Josh. We took him on a last holiday to Scotland with Muffin who was only 7 months at the time. He was pretty good for the fortnight but it was only 3 weeks later that we had to make the decision to say goodbye. We were so glad that he'd managed that last holiday with us. [/SIZE]

I swear jesse knows how badly I wanted him here for his 10th birthday :wub: :huggles:

and stayed strong, now he's letting go

i worked in the leeds infirmary for 17 years on the throat cancer ward and seen many deaths and you do get harden to it cause my thoughts where they had had a good life,but when it comes to animals its so so hard to accept and let go

[SIZE=14pt]I'm afraid today is not a good day for us Jesse is so bad now that we have made [/SIZE]

the decision to let him go, he only walks about 4 feet at any one time now and is

skin and bones cannot lay comfortably any more either.

Unfortunately my daughter Emma (xxwhippetloverxx) is away performing on stage in

'Les Miserables' and will not be back until tomorrow, she needs to spend a bit of

time with Jesse, so the vet has said he will come out tomorrow afternoon or first thing

Monday morning, we just need to let him know which.

I really am a mess at the moment, but I know it's the best thing for Jesse now. :huggles:
