Good evening one and all ,it has been a lovely day ,a bit like yours clair ,quite windy here. ive had fun playing with my new toy :- i brought a potatoe ricer ,and i have had the best ever mashed potatoes ,so soft and creamy no lumps ,i do recommend it

Trac, you're getting as sad as Hely with her housework :lol: I can think of better toys than a potato ricer - but then you'd have to ask Sonia about those (w00t) :lol: :lol: :lol:

use an electric whisk..my old mate Delia told me that also..after you have boiled and drained the spuds..stick them back in the pan and cover then over with a tea towel for about 10 minutes...my old mate Gary told me that
