Why is FAO so dead these days?

Is this the end of it do you all think? We've lost the community feel of it now, its always the first stop for me but rarely anything to read these days compared to a few weeks/months ago :(

oh dont say that clair :( i hope not

Don't be daft Clairy, it's probably just because its Sunday, and everyone was out enjoying the weather. We all still love you :huggles:

We had a good day at Andover. Smidge went out in the second round, but little Nibs came 3rd in the main final. Poor Sweep was not amused at me not letting him run, and it seems I probably should have done. I had someone look at him who is very good with injuries, and whose opinion I trust, and he said he couldn't find anything wrong with Sweep's tendons that I was worrying about. He wears Vetwrap round his stoppers when he runs, and my friend suggested that I might have put them on too tight, which made his foot swell :b Now Sweep has worn them all his life, and I've never done that before - BUT last week his stoppers were sore, and I did bandage him a bit tighter to make sure it didn't slip down - so he suggested we run him up the track, and see how he goes. He ran up no problems, and no lameness, so he told me I was overreacting :b So unlike me :- So next week, he is back to racing :teehee:

Sounds like you had a good day Juney - poor Sweep - glad it loks like he's ok though and better safe than sorry

Good Morning everyone,

i think its gone a bit quiet, cos the sun has started to shine most of the time,

and there's nothing better than going out it whether to hang out the washing or going for a walk,

and if your like me putting up fencing, just got to do the gates and its finished :)

glad you had a good days racing june, i don't think you were over reacting as racing dogs

what ever the breed, would race even if the legs were falling off :D

Morning all - thanks for your kind words. I do love my boys (and girls) and I suppose it is better to be safe than sorry - I've just got to take the ribbing from people who think I wrap him in cotton wool (Steve being first on the list  ) I've been making Steve carry Sweep upstairs to bed each night, last night he said "he can manage the stairs tonight I take it?"!!! :b Well Sweep enjoyed the attention anyway :D

Loving the Marmite avatar Clairy - you either love it or hate it, and I love it!! Marmite on toast, mmmmmm, think I might go have some now for brekkie. Speak later peeps, have a good day
