Clair, they also get called the magpies......and i support them because my ma & pa are geordies...dad was born and brought up in Newcastle, and mum was born and brought up in Northumberland......all my family still live up there...my dad moved down here for work a year before my sister was born.....he worked at the power station for 30 years and mum was a nurse...........we spent every summer holiday in newcastle with my nana........love it up there.....my dad is and always has been a die hard toon fan....and thats where we get it from................so there ya go........bored yet :lol:

They are called the toon because of the geordie accent pronouncing Town :D

I was born there too Hely, but they took me away before I could pick up the lovely accent :(
 
well,weather forecast was completely wrong..abso scorching here today!!!!!!!!!! have a lovely walk with pointys and they are all creamed crackered now..so am i :wacko:

was lovely here ,until we decided to have a BBQ its gone cloudy now

been shopping in reading...my god it was hot :sweating: ....got some clothes for the kids for our holiday...H&M have some lush kids clothes :))

 

really muggy here now...feels like it might get stormy later :blink:
 
Well so much for the torrential rain and thunder storms :D :D :D :D

 

So glad as we had our village fete thing today and I went up to Bath cham show this morning to have a nose

 

I'm sunburnt! Its been a wonderful day, the rec is still full of people just chatting and drinking!

 

Bluebell won Dog in the Best condition :D :D Wasn't going to enter her until someone goaded me into it by telling me their dog would win it!!

 

The judge said she was the best conditioned whippet she'd ever met...don't know how many she has met though :lol:
