got R holly off today..she come down this morning looking dreadful..really pale..she had her uniform on though! she still would have gone to school but i sent her back to bed...she is the only one of my kids who doesnt milk illness to stay off school..the others are sods for that

we are off out to a pottery place later on Hannah is going to decorate a cup or a plate for her Daddy as a surprise for fathers day :wub:

hi ladies hope hannah enjoys that!! i used to be a plate painter at poole pottery bloody hoot we had there...worked all over it...transfer section,warehouse,sponge decorating,painting black on all the earthernware animals...i rem we used to get bored so would add things to them..subtle changes that you could spot if you looked hard enough!!!! such a laugh...the best was when they opened it up to tourists and they would all line up and watch you work...we would be sat there like a load of plebs while they all looked on...we worked in groups of fours and it was me,maxine,julie and liz...who was the spit of judy garland..anyhoo they always asked questions to me and i would make some excuse to go and i would tell them to ask max who would be staring daggers at me while i hoofed it away to chat with the cup stall girls! i love factory work..it is such a laugh

i dred to think what it will look like as she is drawing great big heads with little eyes a big nose and a smiley face with sticks coming out think they are the arms and legs :wacko:

it was a fab job deb,i loved it there...the warehouse was such a skive..we used to take the trolleys and hide in the aisles just do nothing..the boss thought he was god's gift and he would come down and have a flirt with us ladies....he was about 5 ft nothing with slicked back hair and a huge moustache that ned flanders would have been proud off....we always got around him!!!
