And you will be able to get lots of advice from Mark. Good luck when your wee lad gets one of his own, this really has been an informative thread. :luck:

its great that she has gone back to her owners but also sad at the same time,

but reading the good news that he will be getting his own one has made my day

well done for taking in tallulah and taking the time to find out what her needs were while in your care

remember when bradley gets his we will insist on photo overload (w00t)

just loved reading all this. It's amazing how cute and interesting torties are, even though they're reptiles (is that true) as I don't really like the look of lizards , chameleons etc.

Can't wait to read all about Bradleys new pet when it arrives, good luck !

So glad you have found her owners and that Bradley is going to be getting his own tortoise.

Pepa we had a tortoise called Fred that ended upbeing a girl and being Freda.

Great news that you found Tallulah's owners, but sorry for little Bradley as he must have got very attached to her. Glad to hear he will have one of his own in the future.  It's been really interesting reading this thread and so glad that people are far more aware nowadays of the specialist needs of tortoises.

I worked for a vet many years ago and would see a few tortoises. I remember one had unfortunately been injured by a lawnmower and couldn't use its back legs, so the vet glued some lego wheels underneath at the back and it could get about very well.

There are some pictures of Lucy's brother Austin on the whippet forum for Bradley. He would love Austin who is a bundle of fun.

So happy Tallulah finally found her lost OWNER...but Im so sorry that poor Bradley was upset at letting her go....how sad :(

Its great news hes going to have a little one from Mark though, and at least Tallulah has given him an introduction into keeping Tortoises.,

and great to see that hes already had some learning into how to lookafter and care for them.....that must be good....
