Fritz watching things from the top of the stairs.Dad come downstairs earlier today with help from mom and me.One of our electric candles in the rec room window wasn't working,so he had to check it out,works fine now. :teehee:

I thought I would show this shot of a rare site here,snow.An inch of snow fell last night into this morning,only the 4th time this year for snow.Tomorrow night into Friday,rain and cooler by Sunday.

Fritz zonked out on dad's lap early in the morning.Fritz has had a fun time with shoes today.He has grabbed mine,one of mom's,her slipper,another shoe of mom's,plus a boot from a lady and her husband who came to visit dad today.Dad starts taking the pills,Riluzole today,two every twelve hours for a month.This is not a cure for Lou Gehrig's disease but every little thing helps i guess. 8)

Fritz curled up next to Dad,keeping good care of him.Auntie Irene started chemotherapy for hwer bowel cancer last week.She goes back every 3 weeks,at 4 -6 treatments.She says the treatment wasn't as bad as she thought it would be. :*

Fritz curled up in the back of the chair.i just had to go up and have a play with Fritz and his monkey.he loves for you to try and grab it from him and he growls and i get it and throw it,he sometime catches before it hits the carpet. :b

Fritz snoozing under ther couch like he is now and will shortly follow mom up.Last night,he followed Mom up,got in between on the bed.At somepoint,he got up and went a livingroom chair to nap and I didn't hear him until 4:45 in the morning when the paper came.he was in the chair when i com eout at 20 to 7 this morning.Dad recently had tests done at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto.He had needles stuck in his arms and legs and wires on his chest to check the progress of the ALS(Lou Gehrig's disease).The Doctor is one of the best in the field of ALS.He that Dad is in the Advanced stage of ALS.Some people can live with this from 2-10 years.I would like to be around for many more holidays and birthdays,hopefully my 50th in 2010,it wouldn't be the same without him.dad is taking Riluzole and thast has stopped further symptoms from occuring.Some days,one leg bothers him more than the other and the only other problem is his talking.Eats and sleeps well but has lost 3 or 4 pounds which is weird.He also takes pills to keep his iron level up.A couple of Days ago,he wanted to go up to my sister's,they had a new kitchen floor put in and he wanted to see it.They followed mom and dad back,dad wanted a bigger railing put outside the bathroom door.Auntie Irene with her chemotherapy.She has lost some hair and is holding her own.Her next chemotherapy is March 1 and they hope before that to come here for a visit and i know Fritz would be happy with that,haven't seen them in 2 months.Fritz sticks pretty close to dad,in bed at night and during the day on the couch and when he gets up,Fritz follows wherever dad goes.

fritz looking out the front window,seeing if any strange people or dogs are coming by the house.fritz has now gotten into the habit of taking people's boots or shoes with him under the dining room table and using them as pillows.He did that with mom's boot today and my sister's when she come to cut dad's hair.h e just got into the spare bedroom and got mom's scarf and under the table he went.i had to get a milkbone to get him out.
