Hello all just to let you know that Pimms is settling down around the horses now. Still likes eating poo though  ! Oh yes, and rolling in horse wee is also great sport  !

She is loving spending time outside with me while I muck out the field etc. Im hoping to take her a ride with me tonight up some safe tracks on the farm  . Hoping she will follow me on horse back as she does when im on foot...... :luck: !

My new boy has a new name, for those interested.....! Not quite whippie news but news none the less  !

Sad news in that my old girl was PTS on Monday so this boy has a name linked to hers and is to be called Finn. So far he isnt too racehorse like and has been almost o:) !

He is very handsome  and I hope to get some piccys on for you soon.

Glad to hear Pimms is settling down with the horses now. Let's hope the rolling & eating stuff fades out as well!! I know a few dogs that used to love it when the farrier came round so they could eat the hoof clippings, the farrier used to tell me that it was very good for them.

Sorry to hear about your old girl. At least you have Finn to keep you busy now. Good to hear he's behaving himself. I used to work with race horses (flat). Some of them are wired to the moon.

Good luck on your ride out with Pimms, hope it goes well! :luck:

Good news about Pimms, just sit on the horse a while and drop some treats down and away so she does'nt jump up his legs.

Good news  but come on we need some pictures too. :- "

I have a pic from last night, taken from back of Finn with Pimms in the background. We went on our first joint horse/dog walking session and it was great fun! :D

For some reason I cant add the pic to my post  . It says it exceeds the size allowed which I dont understand as its only a camera phone pic and ive added these before without probs......

Hopefully here are GemmaT Pics.

First one .............

I can't think of anything nicer than cantering down that beach with Pimms alongside. Whippets and horses are my dream combination. She looks like she's having a brilliant time too!

Smasing pictures - your horse looks realy lovely  and Pimms on the beach - well what can I say. :huggles:

Yeh Pimme Roo LOVES  the beach.....! She goes mad, runs about in huge circles and splish splashes in the sea. My friend who has a whip of the same age was telling me that he hates water, getting wet, and is generally a bit of a wuss...... Pimms is the complete opposite and loves mud, rain, getting filthy and paddling too  .

I would love to get Finn on the beach with Pimms, our only prob at the moment is lack of transport  . Plus as he is only really 6 weeks out of racing im not too sure how wise it is to give him wide open spaces just yet. I might not have much in the way of brakes...... :b !

Thanks a million for posting the pics Millie.
