Oh Lana how exciting!!! Congratulations too. What a huge undertaking, I can understand how you would be so stressed. He would have to be the first 'coloured' import in many many years. I hope he has much to contribute to our whippies. Ah this is so exciting, I had no idea. Good on you for biting the bullet . When does he come home? Will I see him at the Champ show in Sept?

Linda

Congratulations Lana!!

Boy that must feel good after all your research, all your dreams are finally happening!!!!! I hope you have lots of fun with him!!

Lisa J.

So have you actually seen him, Lana, or is the quarantine place too far to visit? Is he there for 30 days?

I bet those days will go so slowly................................Roll on July!!!!!   :luck:

Congratulations Lana, good luck with him he's lovely

  He's lovely Lana, really lovely - you lucky girl, you must be over the moon.

Fantastic news Lana!! Cash looks 1 top puppy. You must be thrilled to bits, very best of luck with him

Well Done Lana,

He looks so beautiful; I'm sure your over the moon. Can't wait to see him in the fur..

As I mentioned, your patience and perseverance seems to have "paid off" with 'Cash'.. you deserve something so special. His pedigree is stunning and you know how I feel about 'Renown'

Congratulations!!

We just got home after driving 1,400 kms in three days; my pups have grown so much since Friday (Gian did an amazing job with them).

My white bitch 'Beryl' won BOB today in Canberra under Mrs McMahon (a NSW whippet person) and 'Strider' took Best Junior in Group.

I'm a very happy pappy.! :D

Look forward to more pics; huggs to Cash.

I wish you the very best of Luck with Cash Lana, he looks lovely.

I wish there were more blacks/ black and white Parti's in the rings.

I hope you do really well with him.

Russ. :luck: :luck:

Very striking Lana - Good Luck with him :luck:

Hi is lovely. I have always liked his Dad.

Gosh everyone - thank you so much for your support and your lovely comments about him - it was something I really needed to hear at this time!

To try and answer the questions that have been asked ....

He is too far away for me to visit :(

He spends 30 days there.

I don't think I can afford to come to the champ show in Sept this year Linda (am a bit broke now (wonder why :teehee: ) Perhaps next year when he's a bit older and a little more mature - a better time for everyone to look at him and make judgements about him.

I hope too that he can make his mark on Australian Whippets but he will have to make his mark with my breeding first and naturally, I will have to be thoughtful about where he chooses to make his mark after that. :)

Tamara - tell us more about your stud dog choice as soon as you've seen him! Exciting!

Colin - congrats for Beryl's BOB well done.

Congratulations on your new arrival. I look forward to seeing him in person.

If you brought him in through Sydney I would have been happy to visit and exercise him as I work only 10 mins from the quarantine station.

Good luck. The time will go quickly.

Thank you Toni - that is very kind of you! :* Have pm'ed you.

I saw him. He is nice. Very classical and sound. He's not the mostly flashy and spectacular mover but he is correct!!! He is rather small (50cm).

His sire is Ch. Tea Time XR de Chambord (Ch. Rum Punch of Falconcrag X Marchpast Strike A Pose) out of Ch. the blue bitch Peperone Polenta (Peperone Picasso X Peperone Peek A Boo). Unfortunatly I asked to the breeder Polenta's background but he wasn't able to answer   :- " !!!

If one of those Peperone Specialists :p ;) could tell me more that would really be great!!!! :huggles:

Peperone peek a boo is a litter sister to ch peperone personalised out of peperone play with fire by oakbark marathon gold, she is a fawn brindle, hope this helps.

angus

She is also a litter mate of parahandy & partyline in finland .

I knew she was the sister of someone important - just couldn't remember which dog/s :b

Report from quarantine: Cash is doing very well - eating well-twice a day, and is fit and healthy. Loves a game and his carer thinks he is BEE-YOU-TEE-FUL ( that's how she said it :) ) and she wants one just like him. :D
