Oh i would definately have a doberman or a ridgeback. i have always loved them :)

It would definately be a Bedlington Terrier for me - maybe one day

I suppose my dachsies don't count, being hounds ... I'd love a mini smooth or two to keep the mini wires company. Otherwise if I couldn't have more whippets ...................... I have no idea.
We fostered an adorable Yorkie once, so maybe a Yorkie, but all I really want is what I have, whippets and dachsies.

Annie
see now I wouldn't mind a wirey dachs or a smooth  do you have any pictures of yours? x

The boys ... Tolly (short for Ptolemy) on the left, Wilbur in the middle, and Digby (who's sadly no longer with us - run free little man) on the right.

Annie
Now they are fabulous just totally beautiful and I love the name Wilbur for a dog. xx

What no whippet

I would have an Afghan....but then I have one :)

I love wolfhounds, deerhounds, borzoi, greyhound, lurchers.....guess I'm a hound gal :p

BUT...I wouldn't turn a standard poodle awy

if not allowed a whippet or two next well poodle or GSD or dalmation or fox terrier JRT or just a dog 4 legs head and a tail :) :) :)

mmmm, a real toughie because after Whippets, there are several other Hound breeds that i would have on my list.

I love Chloe the Dobermann, but wouldn't have another.........mmmm, probably would be a Terrier - perhaps a Manchester or maybe a Belington, but not sure about the coats though.

life without whippets !!!! oh no !!! if i had to have another breed id probably go back to dobermanns , i do like vislas though and my Natalie has fallen in love with the affenpinchers !!!

if i could an akita at a push

You'll need a real sense of humour if you get a beddy.....and lots of patience........& when that runs out (which it will) drink lots of wine

Our Rafferty has tried my patience to the limit & way beyond over the last 8 years. He is the most stubborn, bloody minded little

Because he looks cute & fluffy people assume he's an easy dog.....he's NOT.

I've more or less given up trying to get him to do anything as he just does his own thing no matter what. It's not that he's a naughty dog, he's just in a world of his own most of the time. Even people meeting him for the first time soon suss out that he's not all that bright :clown:

Having said all that, despite driving me to distraction some days he's still

So good luck if any of you do get a beddy.....don't say I didn't warn you!!!

We started our dog family with a 6year old patterdale terrier  from a rescue centre in Edinburgh then we fell in love with whippets after asking owners and checking out info on the web and would never have anything but more whippets now  .

Would always have a labrador, no matter what - fab loyal dogs - mine's always happy to go out with me whatever the weather (unlike the whippies!!!) but I'd also like a mini wirehaired Dachsie - would have one now but I'm not allowed - apparently 4 dogs is enough!! :p :b

John Gregory will definitely be in the dog house

i love hungarian wirehaired vizlas, i really wanted one before i got lumbered with these duvet pinching whippets :clown:

apart from whippets ,i just adore rhodesion ridgebacks and i used to own a gorgeous one called gemma sadly she died at a only 6 due to an enlarged heart :(

oh yes trac i love ridgebacks too

sorry to hear about your gemma trac :huggles:
