Keeping Oneself Fit

see not only is it an invasion of privacy Its bl--dy dangerous (w00t)

I can't see what all the fuss is about. I'd be happy if that was me....I wish I was that fit looking, and I could jog along with Fred like that. It's a complimentary photo, their face isn't on view. If it was a photo showing someone in an unflattering light then I'd understand.........

Poor Keith...why make him feel guilty about this photo?

i was not getting at anyone, i just wanted to know how others would feel in the same situation  , and as for feeling guilty

you only feel guilty if some thing you have done is wrong  , so if you or others feel its ok, then what would you have to feel guilty about

In the great scheme of things, does it really matter? There are far worse things than taking a photo going on in the world. What a fuss about nothing really!!!!!!!!!!

well nothing seems to of kept people tapping away this afternoon :- "

My post actually had a serious side to it, I had an accident when I was out with the dogs just before Christmas, I slipped when crossing a frosty road and ended up in A&E with a head injury, there were cars coming in both directions and fortunately they were both able to stop, but I have to say I am very careful with roads now.

Jenny

no you are right jenny joking aside she really shouldnt be in the road like that with very little control of her dog i live down a country lane and you would be surprised of the amount of joggers that dont even know the correct side of the road to be on its just irresponsible if anything happened the driver would get the blame regardless as to where she was in the road :(

 thats awful, glad your still here to tell the tale :huggles:

reminds me when i was driving over a 4 lane bridge near to my home, a young lad was riding his bike when the bike wheel just caught the curb  ,he went flying, and the cars had nowhere to go o get out of his way, made me feel sick to see it :x

he was very lucky, just a couple of cuts and bruises, i bet his life flashed before his eyes that day.

OMG Keith,,you got me :D ,,running up the road,,,yes my dog was on a lead,,not one of those fishing one's  This was a very private road for house owners only,,so about 6 cars a day at 8am and 5 pm,,I ran with the dog at 11am

FGS,,,it was a photo of someone from behind,,no face,,yes someone might reconise the dog, but I dont think so :- " ,,no photo of kids playing or gardens full of boozing people (w00t)

I take it that Keith takes his camera out for daily walks with Jill and the goldie (forgot her name),,yep Ive done the very same. Got nice photo's of the dogs at the lake,,got to make sure no others in the photo,,just to be safe,,,for gods sake,,

Keith,,I have never met you,,but take the camera out and get a few more of Jill,,AND the GOLDIE (love this breed too :)

yes we must protect ourself,,for unwanted photo's, video's or strangers hanging about out homes, but a photo of (maybe Keith's wife ) running down a road with a dog on a short lead,,,now this does not need all this fuss

God Ive hung myself,,but dont give a toss

Why is she running in the middle of the road?

Probably trying to escape from the man following her with a camera (w00t) (w00t) (w00t) (w00t)

Actually, on a serious note, I have to beg or blackmail people not to post photos of me taken a shows, but at shows you have put you and your dog out there to be seen :b

I wonder what my OH would say if an unexpected photo of me turned up on a website somewhere :- "

here here. There is always one sad git that will make a mountian out of a mole hill. ;)

Its a very nice pic of someone running with ther whippet. Get a life

Can't see the problem myself either - it's hardly a gratuitous shot is it - just a lady running with her whippet.

This just seems more like an opportunity to get at the original poster and not for the first time either :(

sorry to be a bore...but if i was sitting waiting on my wife or daughter or girlfriend or all 3 :- " for example and outve the window of a car pulled up at a junction pops a camera phone or similar and clicks at her arse as she goes past i think i wouldnt be best pleased.

touch of double standards here last year the NWLCC held an event were Keith attended i took lots of pictures and duly posted on k9 unbenone to me one was of Keith he kicked up a right fuss demanding that the mods remove the picture, so maybe him more than anyone should be discreet itn what pictures he takes and posts without permission

ps just to say i wasnt bothered that he asked that the picture be removed just surprised that he should then do this

And all of his pictures have his head cut off - so if he doesn't want his face known on K9, what gives him the right to post pictures of someone else.

I don't know what genuine reason anyone would have to post a picture of an anonymous person running with a whippet
