(w00t) She's had me up all night!!!!

She never rested and still no foal.

Her behaviour has changed overnight and she has become quite fractious now and all she wanted this morning was to go out in the paddock. Didn't want her brekkie (very unusual) and she's been running milk all night - all down her back legs.

I'm wondering if she prefers to foal down outside??

So now I'm spending the day sitting on the hedgerow watching her in the field :sweating:

Good luck with the safe arrival of your foal. My dad was out a walk the other morning and just missed one being born as when he passed the little foal was wobbling around and the mum still had the after birth hanging, wish I had been there with my camera

Thats what my mare did a few years back :wacko: Went in for a cup of tea when i got back she,d popped out a coloured filly.

Think she's run enough milk today to feed the whole foal population of Devon (w00t)

She's having contractions now but still hanging on to it

:lol: No chance of a chestnut ......... neither line carries the gene so I'm safe :thumbsup:

I'm pretty certain it'll be bay, probably with a star and maybe one white sock (they nearly all come out the same from the stallion I used )
