Just an idea at the moment , depending on the amount of interest shown .

Is anyone interested in forming a lurecoursing club in the South West to run events for members and a couple of opens. All ideas and opinions gratefully received )

Yes would love a SW lure coursing club ....May even be able to help ......and wouldn't an open be a GREAT idea .....Split into classes of pups, vets etc ....

ON SATURDAY BUT I WOULD EXPECT TO FIND SUITABLE GROUND IN A FEW

PLACES AND HOPEFULLY IT IS ONE OF THE IDEAS THAT PEOPLE WILL BRING TO

Yep, we could use our field to begin with, but I'd need to get it rolled. Would have to park on the field, which means only using it when the ground is dry - people can camp, and there is a pub 150 yards away too

June would be good?????? Mr Roberts - are you still happy to bring your lure coursing gubbins down?

The last time we went lure coursing organised by Alex Dagliesh it was held near the hill sprint in Wickwar; it was a good location.

Obviously I'm biased as I have a lurcher and an over sized whippet, so I'd like to see those included.

oooooooooooo im going to be the gad about!!! looks like ill be travelling sw now too!!! dont forget i have all sizes ranging from 13 inches to 25 inch!!! can fill a few slots though i doubt you will need to :thumbsup:
