This morning I was out walking the dogs on the local beach when I noticed Honey sniffing at something. When I went over to see what it was, I couldnt believe it... a tiny dead puppy no more than 5 or 6 weeks old. I reckon he was probably one of a litter drowned and he got washed up on the beach. Poor little fella, its been playing on my mind all morning :(

oh my god that horriable!

did you report it?

rest in peace little one :huggles:

How terrible for you, I'm so sorry - rest in peace little one :(

Aww bless its little heart, nothing deserve's that treatment :(

How aweful... :( RIP lttle one...

It might be someone has tried to bury it and it has been washed up... very strange though...think Id have been tempted to take it home and bury it in my garden if it had been me.. :(

i see you live in ireland and although im not saying ireland has the only people who drown pups i do know that a lot of farmers in ireland drown pups especially collies.they wont pay out to neuter their dogs and bitches so when the inevitable happens they just bucket all the litter.i know this from reading umpteen posts about it on the irish rescue sites so sorry yes it was probably a drowned(purposely)puppy.rest in peace little one. :(

 :( I would have been shaken at such a discovery. Hope you're ok. Poor wee thing :(

Run free little pup :huggles:

oh how sad I would report it just incase any others were found or someone may have reported sothing else to do with it.

Yes unfortunatly its all too common over here in Ireland. It looked like a collie cross, black with white paws with a lab type head. I went back this evening with the intention of burrying it but it smelt really bad so I just covered it a bit, if its still there on monday I will call the council and get them to remove it. Poor little mite. Rest in peace little one.

im so sorry you found this.it must have been very distressing for you. :(

I feel so very sorry for you, what an awful experience :(

R.I.P little one, Run free.

How horrible for you.No wonder you were upset.Imagine if a child had found it,some people are heartless.
