Havnt any experience sorry ,...but have seen cats with missing limbs coping fine. Im sure he will do ok. :huggles: so sorry its come to this but Im sure your vets have him in good hands.

Wishing lots of love and luck to Max for his op... :huggles: :luck: :luck:

Kelly, we have a cat that lives near us with its front left leg missing............it manages to get into my garden for a poo every day :- " ...........im sure Max will be fine :huggles:

That's good news, Kelly. I'm very glad that Max has got over the worst.

There are alot of amputee cats around and they adapt very well to the situation.

He will need to stay in for quite some time whilst he adapts and then gradually go out for short periods until he realises his limitations.

I would imagine he will stay closer to home now as he won't be able to fend for himself so easily but that is for the best

Wishing Max all the best for his op  :luck: :luck: - and also wishing equally as much BAD luck to the ignorant, cruel driver of the vehicle who did this to the poor little chap

So glad to hear that Max is on the mend

I am sure that given time he will learn to adapt without the leg very well indeed.

Good luck Max :huggles:

thanks everyone im sure he will be ok its just gutted me to think how active he used to be and what he will be like with 3 legs :( but maybe its a good think it might slow him down a bit and at least keep him closer to home :huggles:
