Wishing molly a safe journey and hope she settles well ,im sure she will shes such a laid back girl and not a minutes trouble :)) it was very hard saying goodbye, it broke my heart having to take her away from what she was use to yesterday and then for her to trust me straight away and i again take her away :( im feeling very crappy at the moment :(

aw Trish, i know that feeling :(

once you see/hear shes ok at janes you will feel better honestly :huggles: :huggles:

Saying goodbye is really hard. It is one reason I no longer foster (unless the situation is critical). Just keep thinking on the positive side and give your pack some extra huggies :huggles: :huggles: :huggles:

Trish, do not feel bad. You dropped everything, got her out of there straight away and started her on her path to safety and a forever sofa. You know where she is going, that she will be loved and spoilt wherever she goes and most of all, that she is safe. She seems a laid back, trusting, sweet natured girl and she will be just fine. As Bertha says, once she is with Jane and has the pups to occupy her, she will be as happy as Larry :D

Trish, Bless You. Think of this as the start of a journey, for Molly you started her journey to her forever home, she will ultimately have a home for life where she will be cherished, for her puppies you started all their little journeys where Scruples will ensure they too have the very best homes possible, and you also started Scruple's journey, a journey that will start will many sad stories and will end with whippets having a chance to have a sofa of their own. I admire you greatly Trish, always willing to go that one step further to help a whippet in sad circumstances. I can't find the words to express my admiration to you, to Jane to Annie and to Becka, what you are doing for our breed, cannot be measured in awards in the showring, race track or coursing fields, it will be measured in the eyes of whippets who settle down with that sigh only a contented whippet can give as they nestle down, safe, warm and loved.

It must be very upsetting for you Trish to say goodbye to the little girl but her onward journey will ultimately take her to a safe place to have her babies. I must admit, I've found the whole thing upsetting and inspiring at the same time. Look forward to updates of Molly and her pups.

Yours words have made me cry, Jenny :'( :'(

I can only echo them and say again to Trish, thank you so very much. You were there from the first moment that Alison found the advert and without you Molly might still be with that excuse for a human being.

You have my utmost respect and admiration for everything you have done to help little Molly xxxxx :huggles:

Molly is en route

It isn't an easy journey because it's Saturday and the traffic heading west is frightful as usual - all the holiday people heading my way (w00t)

Becka is also feeling unwell with a migraine so she is taking her time. don't worry folks, her mum is driving

What a nightmare, being stuck in a car in heavy traffic with a Migraine. Poor Becka :huggles: What a trooper.

What a great Mum she has driving her all that way o:)

Are they driving back today as well?

Has Molly arrived with you yet Jane?

Hope Becka is feeling ok after the long journey down to you.

They're not here yet ......

They stopped off to let Becka have a quiet snooze to try to shift her migraine and also to let the dogs have some time to stretch their legs and all the other necessaries :D

As soon as they arrive I shall let you all know
