It was on June 29th last year that William escaped from the house and was hit by a car.

Fortunately he defied the odds and surprised everyone especialy the vet who has now rechristened him William the wonder dog by the fact that he is perfectly sound and has resumed his career in the show ring.. No body expected him to walk again and the future did not look good for him.

As well as being back in the show ring he has been enjoying himself fun racing with Button when ever we can get when Morganna on here can organise it

I would just like to thank the people who encouraged us who gave us hope that he would recover especially Lilibet for her advise with out which I don't think he would have recovered ful use of the leg and Tanya (Posh Totty) for putting me in touch with her.

Today is so far has been a bit emotional as I look back on the year and try not to dwell on what could have been the out come and try to celebrate the fact that he is still with us and is back to being his annoying self

Yey Well done William...still here... :huggles:

Well done William. I'm just so glad that it all worked out. :D

The dog with nine lives!, well done. Our Pete broke his leg and we were told he may never run and would walk with a limp!, but you should see him now :D the vet did a fantastic job

Forgot to say Pete is the Fawn and white, Smartie is the parti

I remember so well reading about William's accident - I had only joined K9 a few days before it happened.

It was such a terrible time for you :( , but it gave me prior warning to how easily a sighthound can "leg it" without a care in the world (w00t)

Because of William, I took heed and have tried to make extra sure my girls never get a chance to run off. It was a lesson worth learning and I am so glad that William recovered and is back to being William again :D
