My friend Jill and myself took Jill's labrador puppy Maizee and my Ruby for a walk along the banks of the Humber Estuary this morning. Here are a few pics

looks like you all had a lovely day the weather looks a lot better than it is here at the moment too :huggles:

wow what a gorguse place to walk and Maizee and Ruby are just soo gorguse

:) Look's like you had a lovely walk Pauline, & the girls had fun to.

Its done nothing but rain here ALL day yuk. :(

The weather forecast here was for terrible rain - predicted a repeat of June 25th last year when this area had all the terrible floods. The LA were even delivering sandbags to some of the vulnerable villages. We went out early, and it was very humid, but it hasn't rained yet. Maybe we'll get it tonight - hope not the flooding though. Sorry if you've got the rain - we don't want it :(

Awww Pauline, Ruby is such a pretty girl

Nice photos. I love seeing the walks that K9 members take their dogs on. Helps me to see tiny bits of the UK I'd never normally get to see :D

Hope the rain isn't too heavy

What a gorgeous walk :D It's definitely one of the perks of having dogs that we get out to see so much wonderful scenery, whatever the weather

My workmates can't understand WHY I go walking in the rain and look even more bemused when I say I HAVE to take Tina out whatever the climate throws at me :D

We had a funny walk today......started off hot & humid so we didn't bother with coats on either of us, then it started to rain, then it was dry and then it monsooned down!!!!! (w00t) Luckily I had an umbrella with me so we didn't get TOO soggy. Not that I noticed mind - we had an OTTER swim by just twenty feet or so in front of us!!!!  I was absolutely shaking with excitement as it's only the second one I've ever seen and certainly the closest!!!

Sorry Lesley :D

Glad you like the look of her. I am just hoping she will put little weight on, but just isn't a food first dog. Always something more interesting going on.

I think one of the pleasures of walking with dogs is walking in all weathers [well sometimes  ]. I don't like wearing or carrying coats, so I just always put a change of clothes in the car than I don't care what the weather does.

Funny you should say this...but we are out whatever the weather too...

this reminds me of a time I did a stint in a local office about a year ago full time....

It was belting down so I went out on my usual walk with the dogs....came home got changed then drove to the office..

The girls that worked their full time...were mortified to find out Id been out for about an hour in the rain with the dogs, BEFORE Id gone to work...

Lovely photos and whippets, and I enjoyed the remix. I don't know that part of the world at all so it's nice to see pictures of it. :)

Lucky you, seeing an otter. :D They're one of my favourite animals but I've never seen one in the wild. We thought we might have spotted one up on Kintyre and Arran but we didn't - only loads of seals! :(

Awwww....I've had many a lovely walk alongside the estuary! My Mum lives in Patrington and she often walks her dog along the Humber. Your pics bring back happy memories. :)
