It’s the hardest thing to do but I would get a second opinion like the supervet- get your vet to send a Urgent referral to Noel Fitzpatrick if you go and see him I will pay the £265 consultation fee for you.

Oh good people my heart melts reading your messages. Thank you all for your kindness. If there was even a small chance I would have taken Purdy to Fitzpatrick's but in her state I simply can't. All of us have done everything, I've never seen such a downfall ever. Appreciate all the little moments with your thinkers. The careless walks are the most precious moments. Thank you all from my forever loving Purdy and myself.

I am so sorry to hear this, but yes, letting her go peacefully with no more pain is by far the best choice for her.
If U can, stay with her for the euthanasia- most vets give an induction sedative, to prevent the pet being frightened or reacting sharply to the final injection, then they give an overdose of barbiturates. It’s not painful & is usually very quiet, their breathing & pulse slow, & then stop.

It is the last & best gift we can give to the pets we love. The sorrow is ours, & it’s a very difficult decision, but they have no more suffering, which is priceless.
The memories U made will be a great comfort. She knew she was loved very much, & U brought a lot of joy to each other. Hold onto that.
