hi all

unfortunatley our silver nissan xtrail was stolen last nite and it still had all the dog stuff in it. registration is NC54 EWT. cant miss it i guess as it has a 'Winterfell Whippets' sticker on the back windscreen.

It had two 36" dog crates in it together with numerous slip leads, leather collars lined with sheepskin, racing jackets, 4x flourescent whippet coats, black coat with 'Lily' on it, red coat with 'Lola' on it, 5 wire racing muzzles, various first aid stuff, cage fans, large tub trainers choice, large bottle of Replace etc etc etc

please let me know if anyone sees my car or gets offered some cheap whippet/dog gear

Thieving b******s :rant: I will set some searches on Ebay for racing jackets, muzzles etc, and maybe we can catch them through there. We will certainly keep ears and eyes open, so sorry you have had to go through this - and if you need to borrow anything at an open until you get sorted, just say :huggles:

i am absolutely gutted, they somehow managed to get the keys from the lock inside the door or on the stairs, about 4 ft away from the letter box.

they took the car keys which also had the house keys on so we have had to have all the locks to the house changed too.

dont know whether i am more mad or upset

Although when stolen in this way I think you would be very lucky to get it back

yeh Anne we were in at the time, we are now thinking that someone sneaked in and stole the keys while bob was in the van around 9.30pm ish, then came back around 10.30 as neighbours said car wasnt there at 11pm

this sounds like they used a piece of wire to reach them ,the old hook and pinch trick
