Instead of rice and chicken, while you're trying to find a suitable kibble, why not try boiled potato and white fish, it's very gentle on the tummy.. and maybe feed smaller meals more often,(say 4x a day), I'm not sure how often you are feeding her at the moment..but little and often may be worth a try?

We are doing 4 meals a day. Will try fish again if this kibble doesnt work.

Thanks everyone.

Good luck and fingers crossed for you!

I always suggest when trying Millies Wolfheart, that one of their lower protein mixes would be best to start on first. I have already suggested their "Forerunner" (which smells very fishy). A 40% - 60% mix.
Analytical Constituents, 21% protein, which is quiet low.

Quite agree. If you have a Waitrose nearby they do frozen packs of coley fish - convenient and easy to cook in the microwave. We use it successfully. Best of luck.

That's good to hear - long may it continue!

It does sound like there has been an intolerance to something in her last food, so if I were you I'd be very wary of chicken now. You could give it 6 weeks, then feed something with chicken to find out if you wanted.

Yes I think rice and chicken is a no go. Thank you xx

Don’t chop and change from here for a while, good news for your dog.

Ah so pleased to hear this for you and pup Steph - Both the eating and the normal poos! Hope its still all okay.
Fingers crossed for you both.

Hello I posted maybe a week ago regarding my saluki puppy having a upset tummy she's been home 3 weeks and she's pretty much had a bad tummy most days apart from when being on chicken and rice. Spoke to the vet numerous times and she's on pro kolin. Every time we introduce dry food again she has a bad tummy straight away. On the vets instructions I've tried different foods it's like nothing agrees with her. Some days I'm picking up 10 poos which is hard as she eats it so I have to watch her outside constantly! Now the vet has advice a dry food that is fish flavor. Does anyone have any reccomended food? Weve tired a really good food which hasn't helped a lower brand which hasn't helped and chappy which hasn't either. Spoke with the breeder and he suggested Dr John and thats went straight through her. Please help! Sorry for the long post.

Pardon me for being thick but if she can tollerate chicken and rice? Why change her?.........

Yes, live yoghurt can certainly be given. However, the prokolin that the OP mentioned is a probiotic so in this case I'm not sure yoghurt would help much more.

The live yoghurt over the counter is possibly cheaper than the vet making many bucks from u?......
