Our girl Chloe is not very well and is off to the vets tomorrow to be anaethetised and have her leg investigated.

Last week she showed signs of lameness but we thought she had pulled a muscle, and as she's a young dog, we gave her time to get over it.

Unfortunately, it has got a lot worse over the weekend. Today she has been in a lot of pain and unable to sit, lie down or go up/down steps without crying and crying in pain.

She went to the vets tonight and it isn't a muscle strain, but the vet said we did the right thing by allowing her a few days to try and recover. Tomorrow she has to go in so the problem can be investigated. We are hoping that it is just a nasty joint infection and not a tumour :(

:luck: Fingers crossed for Chloe tomorrow please.

Maybe it's a trapped nerve or a torn ligament

Phew, no tumour or fracture in Chloe's leg. They were unable to drain off any fluid so can't establish if there's an infection or not.

She was in so much pain that she wet herself when the vet lifted her leg when she first went in :(

She's on painkillers and antibiotics and we have to see how she gets on. Probably a muscle tear or infection.

She is feeling very sorry for herself and is like a great big sleepy mole with half shut eyes at the moment!
