A sad day today. Our black spaniel, Jimmy, was put to sleep this morning. He was sixteen and a half years old. Though his heart was still strong, the rest of him gradually ceased to function as he would have wished. With that, the vet came and did what had to be done. Jimmy will be cremated and his ashes returned to us.

He was a good lad and lived a long life. His greatest joy, in his earlier years was to be on the beach playing with the kids. Any kids,he didn't care. Often we would have to go and get him, he would stay there all day chasing things children would throw for him. Bye Jimmy.

Sorry to hear that you have lost Jimmy :( - I'm sure I remember seeing pictures of him in the Spry and Zorro puppy pictures.

Glad he lived a good, long and happy life, but I'm sure you will miss him very much after being part of your life for so long. :huggles:
