Oh, well done - sounds like she's gaining weight nice and steadily. Between that and her lovely walks with the rest of your gang and a warm and comfy place to sleep, she's probably can't believe how great life is now.

Oh thats fab news - if she can gain steadily that's perfect. Its not just what you're feeding her though hon, its the lack of stress - living on a high state of alert drops the weight off too. (well it does me at any rate!)

So her being somewhere where she can relax is helping just as much :)

Just wondering if there's an alternative to spaying if the vet is worried about her heart? I'm sure they do the pill for doggies, don't know if that would be an option or how much it costs, but might be worth discussing with the vet if s/he thinks Poppy's at significant risk under a general anaesthetc

 ooo now i didnt know they done a doggie pill il enquire when she goes back and weigh up the prose and conse they also said its in her best intrest to get her spade thou because of pirmeter (sorry cant spell)and tumores in later life and said it would be just as dangerouse have to deal with one of those conditions and would be worst again if it happens when shes older putting her under for one of these conditions ,so im confused now as to what to do :b

Ive no advice for you but I just wanted to say well done to you and Poppy, you are doing a great job with her  :huggles:

Nicky you may find her heart murmur may inprove a bit when she gains weight as I have found out that anemia [sorry cant spell either] low iron in the blood, can make a murmur worse due to thin blood
