This morning I had to put to sleep my beautiful Pharaoh Hound

"Pippa" aka American / Australian Champion Lahej High Flier - 8 years of age - it was her birthday today.

due to a massive tumour in her stomach - Pippa showed no signs of being ill but looked like she was having a phantom pregancy (which is why I took her to the vet), she was full of life, happily protecting the yard and keeping everyone in line, so it was a complete shock. What we thought might of been, after an ultra sound, a simple desexing turned out to be so much worse, she was put to sleep on the table.

Pippa was a beautiful ambassador to her bred and an absolute credit to her co-owner and breeder Jay Green. I thank Jay for letting me have the pleasure of co-owning and showing Pippa for the past two years, she will be sadly missed by all of us.

Pippa had such a cheeky nature to her, my partner and her had a love hate match going on, but lately had come to an understanding that neither were going to be going so they might as well get on. The most thing I'll miss about her was how she use to bow and look at you shyly with the beauitul blush they get whenever she wanted your utmost attention or to get out of having to do as she was told. So many judges were stunned when I told them her age as she acted and looked like a much younger dog.

Rest In Peace Pippa
