Hi guys,

Here are some recent Arnie pics. He still looks very patchy (borderline Cushings disease so may not grow a full coat)...I love him anyway - baggy bits and patchy fur and all!

He's doing really well and running around like he used to (except now he is on 3 legs!)

aw this is a lovely one of him, bless him
He looks very lifeless in the other one but it's the way he lays now! If he lays on the side with the leg missing he rolls over and then gets up and looks all embarrassed!

he is looking really well sarah, its healed lovely :huggles: :huggles:

He's looking really great , wound all healed up too

Poor thing sounds like he,s been through alot, still a fine looking Staffy & living in a loving home ;)

Arnie is looking great Sarah

Bet he's feeling more like himself now :teehee:

Oh bless him... that wound looks like it's healed really well. They did a lovely job at the vet. Good old Arnie, what a character. x

He's looking great, Sarah

And such a neat job too.

His summer coat will start coming through soon, ready for the warm weather, and he'll be snow white again

He is looking great Sarah, good to see him enjoying his life again painfree :huggles:

Did you ever get any results back from the tumour? Did they send it away?

Thanks guys,

I will take some better pics over the next few days. He has healed really nicely and he is pain free now...I don't think I realised just how much pain he was in! He is now running around like he did before, he is full of life and doing all the crazy things he did before :)

He has adapted so well I'm amazed. Its funny but he has found a way around everything! He can chase his tail without falling over, he can pee (if he remembers to lift the right leg!), he can't scratch the biscuit cupboard but he can head butt it (!) and he can even shake himself now when he's wet!

June, we are still waiting for the results. They sent the leg off (ewwwww, imagine getting that wrongly delivered!) to a lab in the Netherlands. Apparently they soften the muscle over the course of a month to six weeks and then can get some results from that. I have to admit the six weeks is up and I haven't heard but I'm a little afraid to call. I know that probably sounds silly but I'm not ready to hear any bad news right now (like I ever will be!). I will get the courage to call and chase it and I'll let you know when I do.

Thanks for your continued interest in my boy! HOpe all your babies are doing well.

Lots of love

Sarah and Arnie

xx

Arnie has made an amazing recovery - he looks great and what a clever boy working out new ways to do everything :D
