Apart from amylase - as I understand it, wolves dont produce this but dogs do; which is why dogs can digest starches that wolves can't.
Agreed - that's why I said 'aren't that different' - yes, unlike wolves, dogs are able to digest starch, so they are more efficient scavengers. OP - you will find some raw feeders are rather evangelical and purist... as in if you give your dog one piece of kibble it will get cancer, and the only reason vets tell you to feed kibble is so that your dog will become ill and they can treat it at your expense. As always, beware of BS from both sides.
