I thought Id let you see what happened to Ross (Heross will be his racing name) after a German Shepard attacked him yesterday.

The owner said he was a 3-year-old rescue who he had only had 3 weeks.

As he approached on our walk he said this will be interesting as he slipped him off the lead (unfortunately I had not heard this) he told me this evening he had been funny with other dogs but he thought he had improved, I wish Id heard him so I could have said let us go away first.

He was a nice guy but I wish he had been more sensible with a dog that was new to him and he couldn’t know what problems he had inherited with a rescue.

Anyhow he is voluntarily paying £107.00 that the vet charged for sewing Ross up.

At least Ross is ok and back to the vet Friday

What a nasty wound, poor Ross, please give him lots of :huggles: :huggles: from me and mine, my girls say they would love to come and cuddle him in person - he's very handsome!!

Sending Ross :huggles:

Inca had any injury like that before Christmas and it didn't take long to heal.

At least the owner is going to pay the vets bill and I hope he learns from this.

poor ross he looks in shock, hope he heals quick and theres no physcological problems in the future with other dogs.

Why do they give dogs to bloody idiots, He stated it had been funny with other dogs in the past? the trouble is this idiot will do it again & again as his is never the dog to get injured?.

hope he recovers quick and it doesnt affect him mentaly around other dogs.

Poor Ross :huggles: some people should not be allowed near animals, glad hes paying the bill for you Gary.

i hope he gets well soon :luck:

really gets to me when they think paying for the vet bill is all it takes

poor ross could have long lasting physcological problems and not too mention the physical wounds could have been much worse

id report him to the police for having a dog out of controll in a public place

So sorry to hear this, poor Ross :( Some people are so stupid, so he should be paying the bill
