Last time I posted was about Pudding and Georgie making the trip over from the States to London. We've had a great year meeting lots of dogs in Regents Park. Last month our vet reported that Georgie's red cell count was low. She was subsequently diagnosed with leukaemia. After a couple of weeks of slow decline and looking after her, on October 20 at 10:30pm sweet Georgie passed away. She was in bed with us and she went quickly and peacefully. Little G was a major part of our life and family. I know life goes on and I am thankful for her sharing her life with us, but right now I do feel heartbroken. For k9 whippet families all over the world I give you Georgie, a most wonderful companion. May she rest in peace.
