Sorry you"ve been let down Lesley, :(   you get used to this after a few litters, like you say better to stay with you where there happy and settled  :huggles:   rather than going then coming back,  :(   timewasters who"d have them, i think quite a few of them are actually people we know who just want to find out how much your charging, why not just ask.
So is that 4 your keeping? (w00t)

Yes 4 Paula (w00t) to be honest they are fab little dogs, lively and noisy but no bother really, I would much rather keep them than home them and feel uncomfortable about where they go, I didnt plan to keep that many but they are too special to me to let them go to anything other than fab homes

I will be able to make up my own 8 dog stake

Really special people would have to come along now for me to let them go(I'm not advertising BTW as I am more than happy to keep them with me :huggles: )

If I didnt work and maybe a small lottery win I would have kept them all

probably lucky i do not live closer - Solo is so wonderful that i would have been round yours for another (w00t)

but which to choose????

oh heck ......

i'll take them both :)

time wasters are a real pain in the arse, esspecially when you've turned away other prospective mums and dads because they were all taken.

but it's far better having them stop on longer than risk them going somewhere that wasn't right.

people can fool you, thats why i'd never take a deposit for a pup, because if they start having second thoughts and have already paid money, they feel less inclined to back out.

and trust me, i'd rather be left with pups than have one go somewhere that wasn't 100% commited

The fools - who wouldnt want a Sprylet? I'd have Spoldge like a shot if I wernet married to such an unreasonable man who thinks we have enough dogs already :(

I'm pleased you're keeping them, we can watch them all grow

Lol of course I'll still visit Lesley - in fact am back in the area at the end of the month so put the kettle on :D

If i didn't work too many hours for a young puppy, believe me I would've been begging you for Splodge from teh first time I saw him - not that Trio isn't a special little man too, but Splodge just as something sooooo munchable about him

lookin forward to my next fix :D

I once put my name on a breeders list and waited two years for a pup only to find out from the stud dog owner they were unable to get the bitch mated.

The breeder knew I really wanted a pup but never saw fit to inform me there would be no pups :(

I was waiting ages hoping and no pups in sight

Thats terrible because you missed time with a new puppy :( thoughtless people

Your puppies are    but what a shame people have wasted your time like that. My opinion is that you should take on a puppy with the same serious consideration you would give to having a baby... but there again some people don't put too much thought into that either :- "

I would love to have another whippet but, until my divorce is sorted and I know my home is secure then I will just have to drool all over pups on K9! :(
