My dog at an orthopedic surgeon this am fractured his back leg on Sunday having op today worst case he could loose his leg!, poor fella his brother is missing him. we are worried sick. Multiple fracture's and tendon involvment. poor love, surgeon is in Bristol and doing the op now!!, I am so worried, fingers crossed for Smartie.

Thanks for good luck wishe's,

went for a nice walk Sunday him and his brother Pete running but not fast then a crack and yelp, had to go home to fetch car then 3 hours at vets x ray splint and bandage then specialist yesterday and op today, they were good at both vets sorting pain relief for the little fella, he's done it right on the joint in the lower part of his back leg, where the tendon is or was attached!, and it's the weight bearing part!! poor love. Trouble his his brother did a similar thing 4 years ago!!, 12 weeks back and fore vets and 3 grand in vets fee's!!, but the specialist he saw did a fantastic job and got him running again. Now we have a different specialist as we moved away and the damage is much worse! , and now it's a waiting game.

Just had call off vet, joint re built went very well, my little lad now in recovery, so now we have to hope the blood supply good and that the skin heals, so fingers crossed, we hope to have him home tomorrow pm, so will post some pics and will keep everyone informed of progress.
