anyway, its a wee tank but still big enough for another 2 fish, and a snail (once it gets a bit dirty)

didnt want to get 4 all at once give them a goal to be good for next week :- *lol

anyway what do you think?? i love them

Sharon and Fluffly are just lovely Katie - what a lovely surprise for Kyle and Zoe

I like your style with a goal for next week LOL

Cute fish and love the names.....

Love it!!! Very pretty fish as well :D

I had a goldfish when I was a kid, called him Goldie :- and he lived for years!!!!!

I was devastated when Goldie passed away, we buried him in a matchbox in the garden

they're nice, don't ever ask me to mind them tho'...I've never had one survive long !

When we were kids our Goldies used to get a ceremony before being flushed down the loo to the big wide sea !

best watch the kids don't stir them up to give them a spin !!

they wanted to carry the bags home, which i had to tell them no, and i reminded them for darla in nemo, who shook the bag and the fishy went belly up :(

so they were then ok about me carrying them :sweating:

im hoping they will survie, we had a gold fish when i was wee and it was about 6year ld when it died think it was called goldie to lol for some reason my kids have weird names for thing, just glad zoe has sharon out of her system as she wanted to call the next whippy that :sweating:

and whats wrong with the name SHARON 8)

cool fish by the way and great names :p

Sharon xxx :b

 I think Sharon is an ace name for a fish!  Love it :D Fluffly too

They are really lovely Katie....Orandas are they??? I kept fish on and off for years

tropicals and cold water....this is the first time really Ive never had any... :(

Ive got a massive 50 gallon tank bow fronted and a smaller 24" one too possibly up for grabs soon....

when I make my mind up if Im having any more or not... ;)

They're great... bet the kids are well chuffed.

Kinda weird though I bought my little Millie some fish at the weekend too (w00t) . Think we must be on he same wavelength  as they're pretty similar. The big orange on is 'Jamie' and the little stripey one is Gil.

Haven't had coldwater fish for ages but I think they're great they really interact with you.

Great little fish and great names - my name's Sharron, too!

Kids come up with great names, don't they? My eldest son called his first rabbit 'Web' for God knows what reason. I think I may have overdone it on the native American tradition 'name it after the first thing you see' stories... Living round here it could have been called 'Chewing Gum' or Obnoxious Schoolkid' so we did ok with 'Web' I guess.

My youngest son, who is rather a realist, called his first batch of fish 'Fishy 1', 'Fishy 2' etc. We now have Fishies 5 to 8, though I think my dad secretly replaced one due to unforeseen circumstances when we went on holiday.... :- so we may actually have Fishy 9.......

Love the pictures and the names. It's great that you only got the two so you can add to it!

Esty, PMSL at your name story! Web is rather nice though! :)

wow i love the stripy one  we will be going back on sunday i think to get another, and maybe a wee ship to wreck at the bottom :)

we would have liked to have tropical but they are in the kids room and chances are the kids would somehow managed to turn the heater of and then we would have no fish so safer with the cold water ones :sweating:

Youve all set me off now....might just fill the smaller tank back up and start again...

they are so relaxing to watch too... might help me chill out.

oh yes janis do, and post some pics please so i can see :D

Our kids love their fish tank. We have 2 goldfish called Freda and Dora, 6 minnows known as "the teeny wee fish" and a watersnail called Homer! :)

Katie heres a very old thread with my big fish tank on... my fish have died over the years and Ive never replaced them...at one time I had a 12" Plec in there, and some 6'' silver dollars...angel fish and gouramis,

they were my pride and joy.

oh janis, that a big tank, theirs is only wee, hold 17l or somthing :)

was it tropical one you had? sorry im not very good with the names :b the kids tank is glass so if they ever wanted to change to tropical the shop sell a small heater (i think it was £20) so it wouldnt cost us another tank.

they had a beautifull red Siamese fighting fish  im so glad zoe didnt see it :sweating:

of on sunday for another one i think, zoe picked the smallest fish she could and doing that the tank looks totally empty lol, so i think one more little fish, and one of those bottom feeder ones and then a snail in a few weeks, wonder what names they will come up with for the next lot :teehee:

oh fluffy is now nemo
