It's fantastic isn't it, how quickly dogs can adapt and get on with life after limb amputation. 8) If it were one of us humans we'd be hobbling about for months on end!!

At one point we thought Leia would loose a front leg and we met up with a 3 legged lurcher (back leg amputated) just as I was asking his owner if he could still run he squeezed under a gate and ran flat out over the field chasing a crow. It answered my question before I even asked it!
