Just found the above site and wondered if anyone else seen it? sorry, dont know how to paste a link. Mainly foreign dogs i think, ( only had a quick look) maybe im behind the times and its already been posted on here :b Might be quite a useful thing if it was full and had more piccies as you can trace dam/sire/offspring and see piccies :thumbsup: thats if owners have put pics on (some havent!)

Yes, i've looked at this site quite a lot and been very interested to see the pictures.

I added Frankie to it a couple of months ago. :)

Didn't get round to doing the girls, will do when i have 'adult' pictures of them :thumbsup:
 
Its a fantastic site - Using the Whippet Archive I now have an illustrated pedigree for my little 9 week old Ruby going back to 1892 - I have it on a family tree website - the family tree program gets a bit concerned that the males have so many wives and that 2 year olds have children but I have managed to over-rule the objections up to now.

ive just become totally addicted to the site, ive put 2 of my dogs full pedigrees on, hopefully somewhere along the way more details about all the dogs will be infilled by other people using the site! give it a whirl its fabulous!

my old Sunny's mum and dad and brother are on there, so I should add him even though he's no longer with us :(

Just seen that awful photo of Badger and me , you know the one where Im in serious need of help with my clothes (w00t) How do I get in touch with who put it on and give them a better pic of Badger ( without me ) :teehee: ?
 
Hi!

I have spent many hours filling in pedigrees in the whippet archives and I have mainly tried to go back in time to get as complete pedigrees in influential old dogs as possible. So if you have access to old interesting pedigrees personally I would find it wonderful if you would like to share. Many just seem to put in a few generations of their own dogs.

Just register yourself on the sight and after that you can change any photo on any dog, or any other information that is!!! I have changed some information a few times in dogs I owned or in other ways was connected to me and I knew the information was wrong.

I think that's the bit I don't like about this, you can go in and change anyone else's dogs details once you're registered :eek:

I have found it a great reference tool and have used it lots, but am always a tad wary that it is 100% accurate.

I'm off to look at Badger before Jax changes it (w00t)
