I've just been contacted by JP Doyle's (1 of the bookmakers on Belle Vue) He's very genorously offered the winning owner of the whippet race a free £50 bet on the last race of the night.

A big thank you to Henry for this very kind offer.

The calenna twins will be there and raring to go

Unfortunatley in view of their recent bout of illness and a course of antibiotics I have decided not to run the girls at Belle Vue as I am not happy that they will have had enough training before the event, of course we will be there giving support to all other members of the LPWRC and wish them the very best of luck :luck: :luck: :luck:

Dean (goodasgold) and myself will be there to offer our support (and get drunk).

looking forward to meeting more k9'ers. We've booked some digs for the night mate so i wont be needing the couch (cheers) and you won't be getting any breakfast!! (w00t) (w00t)

Make sure you pick dogs that have run on a greyhound track that uses the outside hare, as lots od dogs will not chase, hope this helps Scotty.

Hi Scotty

All the dogs that will be running have been round Westhoughton several times to their outside hare to get them ready for the race, they have all run bends to the drag lure but we felt in the interest of safety that they all needed to prove themselves to the outside hare as well..

When we had Greyhounds it was suprising how many dogs would only chase 1 or the other hare (Inside or out) there again there arnt many now that still run the old inside sumner are there?.

there all running some form of swaffam type now (flaps).

Just been and collected the trophy's for t5he race that have been kindly donnated by Spider from Flappersdream web site.
