Of course we'll find a dog for you to walk on the night.

Yep phone still broke, I can recieve calls ok on it as its the screen thats damaged and they want £75 to put me a new one in.

Here is the final result of the BELLVIEW whippet race that has not long taken place,

1ST place....(trap 4) Parkstone Trueblue.

2nd place.... (trap 6) Niisyf Otis.

3RD place....( trap 5).Niisyf Oto.

4TH place....( trap 3) Pennymeadow Pepe.

5TH place....(trap 1) Pennymeadow Poppy.

6TH place....(trap 2) Parkstone Trueblue.

I believe there was a photo finish , not much between the dogs at all.

Times to be announced later with more information.

Well i'm tired and drained but very happy that the race went so well and we had such a great finish..

The runners were paraded in front of the stands they got a great reception from the crowd.

As the traps Opened T2 Parkstone Lucky Charm took the early lead as expected but as they went into the 1st bend Parkstone True Blue took up the lead and went 4L clear.

coming off the 2nd bend Parkstone True Blue was still leading but the pack were now closing fast leading the charge was Niisyf Otis who was the favourit going into the race, unfortunatly he'd had to check going into the 1st bend and again on the run in otherwise he would definatly of won.

as the line approched it looked like Niisyf Otis would come and steal it on the line.

it was then anounced that it was a photo finish between T4 & T6 after a short wait the winner T4 was announced to a cheer from the crowd the crowd gave the whippets a great reception when they all lined up for the trophy presentations.

there was very little seperating the first 4 home.

A big thank you to everyone who came unfortunatly we didnt meet up with some till after the race due to there being around 5000 people there.

The Free £50 bet was then placed on Trap 1 in the very next race which obliged at 3-1 so we picked up £150 off JPDoyles Bookmakers.

A big thank you to everyone who supported the race in what ever way.

I should get the Tap Wednesday so if anyone wants a copy please send me a PM with your name & address.

oh and I won a bottle of Rum on the raffle as well.

When most of us left Mally & Goodasgold were still well away in the bar.

The Winning time was 17.90 (they only ran 250mtrs due to useing the hcp traps).

So thats a new track record for Whippets at Belle Vue.
