oh thats such a shame isnt it.....hope that changes and a black or blue wins crufts one day :thumbsup:Pennymeadow Whippets said:~whitecross whippets~ said:do certain colours do better at shows??
Hi Kaz at most shows the blue's & black's seem to get treated as though they are second class except in the coloured classe's but in top class shows it takes a very brave judge to pull a coloured dog or bitch in first place yet their popularity speaks for it's self
Keep these excellent pics coming
How can you call such a beautiful dog "Maggot"! (w00t) :wub:dawn said:This is Glenbervie Love Lace whose pet name was Maggot. She was one of Richards whippets in the early 80's
Well, that was also the case here in OZ but it is changing rapidly as more and more blue and blacks are coming into the ring. And judges are starting to put them up. The thing is the coloured lines were often totally different type than the brindle parti judges were used to seeing in the ring. I am sure there will be soon top winning dog who is blue or black. I am just worried that the popularity of this colour is attracting the wrong type of people, who will be belting our pups just because they can sell them at high prices.~whitecross whippets~ said:oh thats such a shame isnt it.....hope that changes and a black or blue wins crufts one day :thumbsup:Pennymeadow Whippets said:~whitecross whippets~ said:do certain colours do better at shows??

This could be the down side but at present blue & black puppies in a litter are normally the same price as their sibblings & let's hope it stays that way :thumbsup:Seraphina said:Well, that was also the case here in OZ but it is changing rapidly as more and more blue and blacks are coming into the ring.
