Vickiy , Can you see or feel them moving about yet ? I can with Fleur , when she was on our bed this morning  (w00t) I could see one moving just behind her ribs , it was so facinating to watch    I just love it and Fleur looks so conteneted too  :))
I can feel them moving when i put my hand on her tum, haven't had a proper look though to see if i can see them - thats on my "to do list" for tonight!!

The change in Ella is unbelievable, she's quite independant and a bit touchy most of the time but being pregnant has turned her into a right big soppy bugger - she wants my attention all the time and would be quite happy to be on top of me. The last few days she has really dropped and she's got milk on her - so i'm guessing she might go a couple of days early, just hope she knows what she's doing because i feel like it's my first time  - suppose it's coz she's "mummy's number 1 pup" i'm scared to death of anything going wrong.

Where will Fleur have hers? I got a little bed & pen made up last night (Tommy Walsh would be sooooo proud of me!) and i've started feeding her in there and letting her sleep in there during the day in the hope that she'll settle there when she's in labour.

:luck: :luck: not long now!! :D

I usually put a pen around the whelping box and throw a rug over, making a tent. Bitches like it dark and hidden, they move in as soon as i get it ready. Which I do when I see them searchiong for a place. Never failed yet.

Lida

My bitches usually only start lactating day or so before whelping. I check for milk daily.

Some recent pic's of Elzi

Weighed her at weekend and she's put on 8lb, she's just been running about on the field but has slowed up and decided on lots of rolling around instead of flying about. Her poor belly feels ready to pop it's so hard & tight (still - least she doesn't need to worry about stretch marks) had a good feel of the baby's last night, it's so lovely to see & feel them moving around and Ella just lay there looking quite content with herself.

this one looks like her legs are buckling under her weight lol

Christ when I seen this post bumped up I thought she'd started!! (w00t) Defo not far off though!

:luck: :luck: Good luck Ella and Vicky!

Ella, never mind keeping us all awake all night before you've even started whelping, I've been missing lots of sleep by being glued to all the pregnant pet stories, 42 pages of buppies, everyones photos etc !!!

when you start off with your pups I'll be abandoning my house and family watching all that's going on, good luck Ella and Fleur too, safe journey to you both

lots of love Julie Dx x x :luck: :luck: :luck: :luck:

 Only just noticed this thread didn't even know Ella was preggers!!!! Pics are so funny seeing her with a right big tum!!!! Who's the dad, is it a Wessie dog!! I reckon 6 , 4 dogs 2 bitches just hope she has no problems giving birth to puppies with curly tails like mums!!!!!!!!!!!! Might get stuck!!  :clown:

(w00t) TODAY IS DUE DAY!!! (w00t) The day i've waited for, for absolutely yonks!!

Well so much for thinking she might go early! She's tucked up in bed as i type, and her tum is moving all over the place so doubt anything is going to happen quickly but you never know! My grandad is coming to sit in with her for the afternoon today.

Come on Elz!!!!! :sweating: :sweating: :sweating:

I just know Jacqui is gonna think she's started when she sees this thread bumped up

The stud dog's from Chesterfield Gina, so you've not seen him, he's a white/fawn parti colour.
