Hi to everyone that came along today, we are just back & feed dogs. Want to say thanx to all competitors for the great sportsmanship & creating a brilliant day for us all. It was great to catch up with all our friends & meet some more!! A big thank you to Maggi for taking the photos yet again!!! & Deb for helping me out & making copious amounts of tea, coffee & food!!!

oh i forgot great food..the stew was much needed,it tasted yummy :cheers

Oops, forgot the most important one (well to me anyway !) ... Finn won the Whippet Lurecoursing 16 dog stake ... so proud of my blue boy :wub:

Thanks to everyone at The Coursing Crew for making a first timer so welcome. We had a great day out and were relieved that Rocco remembered what he was supposed to do, as it was only his second ever event. Nice that some Show Whippets can really run, although Rocco's sire is an American coursing champion so probably not so surprising that he didn't disgrace himself. I think that yesterday was better than his class win at Crufts this year. :)

Thanks for a great day really enjoyed ourselves.Well Done to all winners and competitors :thumbsup: our Tigger done us proud considering she has been off mostly all this season with an injury.She came res racing champion so well pleased with her (w00t) it was lovely to meet up with old friends and new.Cant wait till next year.thanks coursing crew for a great end of year blow out see you all next year ;)

He ran amazingly ... that course between him and Finn alone made my day out, and Finn only just pipped him :thumbsup: And then to win the whippet straight racing ... go Rocco !!!!! Not surprised you're proud :thumbsup:

Finn was a worthy winner of the coursing, well done and let's not forget Taran coming 2nd in the whippet straight racing - great stuff!! :D
 
Huge thanks to the Coursing Crew for putting on this event :D The weather was perfect and even warmed up towards lunch time!!

Also, thanks to all the helpers who made this event possible - judges, stewards and galley slaves ;) - I guess it really couldn't happen without you all :thumbsup:

i had a brilliant day and over the moon with mouse winning the coursing :wub: :wub: .thanks o the coursingcrew for putting on a lovely day .and was great to meet some new ppl off here and of course cheers jane for taking me

A HUGE thanks to the corsing crew for a fab day out.

we are so pleased how our hounds did on the day

Pepe had 4 runs in the coursing the best she has done all year (w00t)

Phoebe comeing 3rd on the overs brill concidering she was facing the wrong way at the start :clown: she ran hard and well to come third making up around 8 lenths in no time (shes my hart :wub: )

Pagan what can we say he,s had a month off and forgot what to do :- :blink: :teehee:

then Patton came out at the end so everyone can look at him cos he is stunning and growing very fast ( we have a problem with him he runs away from plastic bags dont know how to resolve this any help please would be graetfully receved :D )

and the bacon butties were out of this world thanks for that Debbie xxx

:oops: Also I want to thank everyone for making my mum-in-law so welcome she had a fantastic day she,s never seen the hounds run and she loved it she got confused with the coursing but thanks to steve hurst he explaned it to her. She has got a patterdale jack russle thats her life and we tryed him in the terrer racing.

right Sam has never been off the lead to have a free run(hes got a very large garden to run in)and my mum-in-law was scared to death of him running so we got antony to slip him he was on the start line evryone had started so he gose off after them over tacks one dog then finds someone to play with in the middle of the trake then gose back to him mum he had a ball mum-in law was crying with pride for her LITTLE SAM thanks to all :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
 
ha ha thats must have been my little maeve who he ran off with half way up the race ,lol shes only just 5 months and has never tried before but they looked so cute together :clown: :wub:
