We wish you a speedy recovery Zoomie. There's no ice in OZ at present, just the blazing midday sun.

Just caught up with this Fiona. Do hope Zoomie is doing fine. Big hugs from the gang over the hill.

:( Poor Zoomie, he looks so sad. When Max cut his leg in September (he did it on the patio door) he said he had been fighting with Captain Jack to save the Black Pearl so Zoomie is in good company if he wants to be a pirate.

Lots of big hugs and kisses from me, and bum sniffs and winkie licks from Max and Tiny. :huggles:  :*

My OH fell over on the patio on Saturday and smashed his knee up - he needed 11 stitches - it must be catching! :(

Zoomie sends his regards to his pals in Oz :huggles:

And his pals send their best wishes and regards back. Phoebe thinks Zoomie is ever so brave (and handsome)

how is zoomie now?any improvement? :luck: :luck: :luck:

Zoomie is doing brilliantly *proud mummy*

He doesn't have even a trace of a limp so he's given up trying to be a pirate ( we don't live near the sea anyway) and has gone back to being a cravat-wearing classical music composer (we can hear him humming the cello part of his symphonies from the bottom of his snuggie-bed). I'm convinced his toe is looking better already although it does still stick up a bit (we live quite close to Balmoral Castle so he's expecting an invite to tea with the Queen any day now... (w00t) )

He goes to the vet today to get the stitches out (I can't believe ten days has gone so quickly!). I don't even think there will be much of a scar!

The only thing driving him utterly BONKERS is being kept on a lead and he has another three weeks of that to go. It's like flying a kite in a high wind the way he bounces about  And he keeps turning round and giving me the filthiest looks as Lottie goes flying past his ears with her 'chase-me' cries!

But we've been making up for all the trauma with huge cuddles :huggles: and nurse Lottie has been brilliant at soothing his wrinkly brow :huggles:

Good luck for getting the stitches out... :luck:

I can sympathise with those lead walks.....hard work or what. Archie had his trip to the vets and keeps his staples in till next Tuesday... (w00t) so more lead walks for us too... :( as for the ice we have plenty of that too at the moment so we are being extra cereful...

Hugs to Zoomie... :huggles:

Your post about the walking was very funny...
