They’re huge now! What a gorgeous pack you have :)

Yes a "pack" is right! All individuals and totally different:rolleyes:.
"Dainty" (with the pink collar) is just beautiful, very much like her mum (sensitive) and just wants to please. (my puppy)
"Vejay", the very dark one with no white on her face, is very bold and confident, as you can see in the family picture of 6 girls, right in the middle, she is already on the go! PHEW!! (husbands puppy) Haa ha;)

I do miss my 1 to 1 very personal relationship, when I had just dog

Hello @excuseme how are the girls doing? Haven't heard from you in awhile - hope you're ok! :)

Hi Josie, the girls Vejay and Dainty are fine. This wretched HOT weather does nothing to stop their puppy antics and playing !!:(
They are looking very grown up these days, Dainty is so much like her mum, she looks like her mum and is gentle and easy to manage,(although my husband dose'nt think so! ) Vejay is still very bold and looks much more like her dad. They are good puppies, at the moment they are enjoying growing up and puppy life, they both enjoy the water tanks in the field, just like their mum.
I shall have to make an effort and get some more pictures.

Pictures taken this evening, the light is very difficult.

1st year update.
The past year has gone very quickly, VeJay and Dainty have grown into a couple of "young ladies". They have both had their first seasons (last November and December).
They have been bounding with energy and have been problem free.
Their BVA eye tests are booked in for later this month. (fingers crossed that they behave themselves on the day)
Pictures taken last week.

Both Dainty and VeJay had their BVA eye tests last week. They were both, GPRA and RPED clear, with their Gonioscopy scores being a zero (0).
Both girls behaved themselves as expected, of course.

Excellent. When will you plan to breed? Will you try for having them whelp at different times or close together?

No plans to breed. We have no need for any replacements at the moment.
How strange you should have said that. When we came out from the eye tests a chap asked me, when are we going to have puppies !! I exclaimed there were no plans for either of them, they are no more than puppies themselves.
At the moment it is just nice to know that we have produced 2 healthy girls who are also herediary clear by parentage of; prcdPRA, FN and AMS.

@excuseme your girls are beautiful :) where has that year gone! My boy will be 1 next week its flown past so quickly.

Yes the past year has gone quickly, the girls have fitted in quiet well. We have had no chewing problems or damage from them. Good girls!:D

Happy birthday for next week.

Thank you :)
You've been so lucky, Rolo has been the worse chewer I've had everything has been chewed by him and he's only getting worse lol

Hello all,
Well, the two girls "VeJay" and "Dainty" are 2 years old now and I have yet to take some updated pictures of them for you to see. They haven't changed in looks and VeJay is still the bold one of the two. They have very different characters.
They have learn't what a day out shooting is and what is expected of them in the "Beating line". They both work nicely, although at different speeds and in different ways, (their individuals), neither of them are "gun shy", loud bangs do not bother them, and they never go to the same shoot together.
They are quiet strange at night time as they just love to go out to their shed/kennel where they were raised, and at about 9.15pm they start to "buzz" and ask to go out to bed. They both have an Equafleece" polo neck fleece to go to bed in, (their pyjamas) and they have just a warm lamp (not a light) to keep warm under.
They have been a fairly easy couple while growing up, they have never done any damage in the house and "potty" training was easy.

Please keep reminding me to take some pictures of them.

Hi, I've just read through the whole thread of the pup's story..WOW...what a plump little things they were.
I doubt I'll be breeding my dogs, but even then, I was very interested to find out how these things are done and how things involve. Pup's diet was my revelation....as lot of info 'out there' does not recommend feeding raw for pup's under one year old  (what else they would eat if man made grub would not be invented...)
So to see evidence of how healthy your pups were with natural diet and quickly they grew...well if I were to raise pups..I would not do it any other way! So thank you for updating your thread and bringing it to attention of us who have joined to the forum at the later date. Most appreciated!
